Somewhere in Accra – EP 03

The first time I heard of Kiki Bees, I mistook it for Fili Bees because they’re both located around the same area, which is behind KFC East Legon. I know what you’re thinking, it reminds you of Kiki Djan of Osibisa.

Graffiti paintings of Kwame Nkrumah, Bob Marley and other iconic personalities can be seen on a container mounted on side of the entrance. Apart from the bar area and sitting area outside, there are cabanas you can reserve it you want privacy. I was shocked to discover an indoor arcade game, this goes to show that there’s something for everyone. Oh yeah one another thing, basic bathroom selfies are a thing of the past now. The yellow and black decor in there will make you feel like you’ve been thrown into a beehive.

Live band and karaoke nights are added to the roster to give different vibes catering to different audiences in addition to the usual dj set. Whatever your poison (alcohol), they’ve got you covered with a variety of Cocktails, wine and drinks. Not forgetting my goodies, they’re menu consists mainly of the rice dishes and Khebabs as well. My favorite is the spicy goat chops and it is not for the faint hearted, I repeat not for the faint hearted.
